Chipman Hill Suites
We were really pleased to find this unusual “hybrid” lodging, which mixes the helpful amenities of a long-stay apartment (useable kitchens or kitchenette, laundry facilities on-site, sufficient room to spread out) with the character and looks of a classic inn. The handsomely restored and appointed suites are in a set of historic buildings on the hill at the edge of “uptown” Saint John, within steps of the big hotels, restaurants, and shops. And they’re so comfortable and reasonably priced, many are filled with long-term renters. Service, too, is unusually gracious and helpful. A find!
