You've been out all night, it's late, and you're hungry. All hail the Queen! The Sausage Queen" food truck has become an institution in Salzburg nightlife. It's been around since 1951, with a main vending position at Ferdinand Hanusch Platz by the bus station since the '70s. People don't just come for the Käsekrainer (cheese-filled pork sausage), Debrecziner (spicy smoked Hungarian sausage), and frankfurter, they're equally attracted by the conversation. The later the hour the livelier the mood of the clientele. Don't come too late, though, because when the sausages run out her four-wheeled majesty heads home.
