The longest limestone cave in the country, Hwanseon-gul is located in the hills west of town. There are a number of waterfalls and pools within the cave, as well as a variety of rock formations, which have been given names like the "royal seat." It also contains a number of stalactites and stalagmites. It's about a 30-minute, uphill walk from the ticket booth to the cave's entrance. It's a lovely place to visit on a hot summer day, as the temperature inside the cave remains a constant 50°F to 59°F (10°C-15°C). The cave is part of Daei-li County Park.
