Chef Santiago Fernández Benedetto spent years working in kitchens around the world then returned home to Costa Rica to take over the kitchen at La Fortuna’s Don Rufino. And now, the elegant dining rooms of a restored, 1930s Barrio Amon house and interior with a plant-lined courtyard serve as the setting for his latest project: a fine dining restaurant that pushes the boundaries of Costa Rican ingredients and culinary history in playful tasting and a la carte menus.

Downstairs is Cothnejo Fishy ★★, their rambling and wonderful bar and wine cellar.
