One of the few northern Spain hotels from this group known for business properties in Latin America and southern Spain, the Costa Vasca is actually a 5-minute walk from the coast—specifically from Ondarreta Beach—and about the same distance from downtown San Sebastián. It does a bustling business during the week with small conferences and other business travel, but offers deals on the weekends. The exterior is red brick set in a wave pattern, while the interior is low-key, tasteful, and contemporary. Rooms all have good work desks. Those with balconies overlook the road, not the beach.
