Hotel Altamira
With its exposed stone walls, broad wooden floors, and wooden ceiling beams, the Altamira can hold its own for historic ambience with any old hotel in town, paradors included. This was not a noble residence, but the spacious stairways and large rooms attest that it was constructed for someone of considerable means. It’s nice to know that the owner, Don Juan de Valdivielso, was the town scribe.
