Tropical Breeze Resort ★★—On the Gulf side of Siesta Key Village, Tropical Breeze exudes romance and relaxation, with lush gardens and private units across the street from the beach. All the units are walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Rooms are spacious—sizes ranging from a standard to a five-bedroom suite—and with very beachy décor (think: paintings of pelicans), and most with kitchens. There are two heated pools, including a saltwater courtyard pool and waterfall pool with spa—try to snag a rocking chair around the pool if you can. Unit 131, the Crab Shack resort room, comes with its own private heated pool. Free use of bikes and beach toys are nice perks. Free shuttles that have partnered with the hotel will whisk you to the town and beach if you’re too lazy to walk the two minutes it takes to get there.
