Just in front of the cathedral, in a pretty stone building, Le Bistrot has a simple menu of IGP products (officially labeled as coming from geographically recognized areas known for their production of this particular product, such as the IGP foie gras du Périgord). Other options include beef tartare, fresh fish, and hand-churned ice cream. A children’s menu is available for 10€. Reservations are recommended, although, helpfully, the restaurant has opened a sister establishment, Le Petit Bistrot, about a 5-min. walk from this one, in case it’s overbooked.
