Planning a trip to Sete
Getting There -- Trains arrive regularly from Montpellier, and Sète is on the TGV line that runs from Paris to Perpignan. If you're driving, Sète is off the A9.
Visitor Information -- The Office de Tourisme is at 60 grand rue Mario Roustan (tel. 04-99-04-71-71).
Special Events -- Every August, the people of Sète pay homage to their patron saint with the Fêtes de la Saint-Louis, which includes 6 days of nonstop music, dancing, fireworks, and, that favorite Sétois pastime, water-jousting tournaments on the canal.
