While places such as Groucho and Dada cater to the well-heeled and stylish night owl, Fun Club is much more for the jeans, beer, and indie music lover. It's located in the town's funky alternative district, the Alameda—and you'd do just fine having a few drinks in the bars nearby before heading here to dance until very late indeed. Fun Club is a bit of an institution—it's been here for decades—and it's my top recommendation for a no-nonsense, late-night music jaunt. It's the kind of place you can let your hair down and have a good time, because that's what everyone else will be doing, too. Expect live music most nights. The entry price varies depending on the band, but it's usually around the €5 mark. If there's a band playing—which is frequently—the place opens at 9.30pm. On nights when it's just a DJ, it opens at midnight.
