The usual fast-food culprits are here: KFC is opposite the Yanchun Garden Hotel, Zhongshan Dong Lu 195, and just west of the World Trade Plaza on Zhongshan Dong Lu, along with a McDonald's. Extensive Western menus are available at both hotels; you can also find a branch of the excellent Shanghai restaurant, Soup Best Shen, at the Yanchun Garden. There's budget eating opposite the station, including two branches of California Beef Noodle King (Meiguo Jiazhou Niurou Mian Dawang), and a branch of the Malan noodle chain next to Quanjude. At any of these you can fill yourself for ¥5. The vast Renren Le Supermarket is located underneath the Mao park, just east of the Yanchun Garden Hotel. The Great Helmsman transformed into the Great Spruiker. Another supermarket for travel snacks, open from 9am to 7:30pm, is located at Zhongshan Xi Lu 83, just west of the station. Shijiazhuang is best at offering Beijing specialties in quieter environments and for lower prices.
