Hotels in Sopot

Sopot has a range of choice accommodation. Even if you're spending most of the day in Gdansk, stay here if you want to be close to the beach and clubs. Gdynia, on the other hand, is short on well-located good lodgings. Some hotels ratchet up their prices during the August Sopot Festival. One global chain here is the Sheraton Hotel (Powstanców Warszawy 10; tel. 58/767-10-00; www.sheraton.pl/sopot). It's a neighbor of the Grand Hotel; over the last 2 years, the expansion of its spa and restaurant wings have invaded much of the real estate by the Molo pier.
