Nearly 400 hectares (988 acres) of conifers make up this serene nature park. The woodlands are a habitat to a variety of wildlife, including a herd of Japanese sika deer. A forest drive offers splendid views of the Sperrins. Here you’ll also find a nature center, wildlife enclosures, trails, and a cafe. The park has three separate marked walking trails; details can be found at the visitor center on the B48 road just south of Gortin. The long-distance Ulster Way hiking trail also passes through the park; for more information on the Ulster Way visit www.walkni.com/ulsterway.
