Joy and Andrew Warren have major experience in the luxury hotel business, coming from storied careers at swanky stays in Southern California. They know hospitality. They don't just know it, they live it. And you will too when you stay at their fantastic bay-front B&B. It's hard to decide which of the 15 rooms to choose from. They're all immaculate, with décor in varying themes, like the feminine, pastel Abigail, or the masculine, classic Minorcan. One thing all the accommodations have in common is incredibly comfortable beds. Most rooms have electric fireplaces, and many on the second floor have private balconies. Food at the Bayfront Westcott House is no joke, beginning with a hot entrée every morning, and continuing through the day with varying snacks and hors d'oeuvres. There is always something sweet available in the dining room. Even sweeter is the "Fact or Folklore" social hour from 6pm to 7pm every Monday and Wednesday, hosted by a professional storyteller from Ancient City Tours. If and when you do decide to leave the property—and it's not so easy to do—you're just a short walking distance to the historic district.
