It’s all about location, location, location, when it comes to this motel, formerly known as the Monterey Inn, overlooking the Matanzas Bay, right next to the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, and within walking distance of so many attractions of the Old City. Rooms are not especially spacious, but clean and almost stylish. The grounds are immaculate, especially the outdoor pool. There’s no restaurant on site, but there are restaurants within walking distance.
