Pirate Haus Inn

Families on a budget arrrrrrgh very welcome here, at this spiffy hostel that's geared towards those with young kids. Done up in a pirate theme, this Spanish-style building has a communal kitchen, living room, and rooftop terrace plus five private rooms on the second floor (no elevator). The Jungle Room has a king bed and bunk beds; the Tree Room, Pirate Room, and Map Room sleep six with two sets of bunk beds; and if you choose the Mafia Room you’ll sleep with the fishes (literally—there’s fish décor). That last one has a king and futon. Room rates include board games, use of the house guitar if you play, the lodging’s famous all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast (with “strong coffee approved by SpaceX as an alternate rocket fuel”), and “occasional free pirate beer.” No bachelor/ette parties are allowed here because, as they say, "they ruin our beauty sleep".
