Prohibition Kitchen

A 1920s-era-themed bar and restaurant with an industrial speakeasy style and the longest bar in town, this place is decked out in 400-year-old heart of pine ceiling boards that were also used to create the bar and booths. As vintage as it looks, the menu is thoroughly modern, showcasing local farmers, butchers, bakers, and fishermen, whose goods shine in dishes including the PK Poutine, where Canada takes field trip to Historic St. Aug in the form of fries topped with smoked cheddar mornay, pork belly, sour cream, and chives; and the authentically spicy Datil chicken wings. Mains include a hearty flounder platter with mac and cheese, green beans, and hushpuppies. Cocktails are killer, from the make your own Old Fashioned and the cocktails on tap, to an unabridged selection of whiskeys, bourbon, and wine that would make the bootleggers back in the day thirst with envy. Live music and late night menu bring in the party people.
