Overlooking Cruz Bay harbor, this is the island’s best B&B. It was part of an 18th-century sugar estate, and is set fetchingly among the Danish ruins. An elegant guesthouse, it boasts 14 guest rooms, each with private covered balconies and many with four-poster beds, Tiffany-style lamps, and big wooden armoires. Some have garden views; others have harbor views. Many have wooden rockers on their private balconies. On the property is Asolare, one of the island’s best restaurants.
