It's hard to beat this location right on Reduit Beach, one of the island's best stretches of sand. Besides the prime perch on Reduit, Bay Gardens is practically within spitting distance of all the eateries and action in Rodney Bay Village. (Spinnaker's Bar & Restaurant is right next door.) One of three locally owned and operated sister resorts on the island, the welcoming Bay Gardens is a well-managed, decent-value option. It's also one of the few good-size resorts on island that welcomes children—and welcome it does, with a large lagoon-style pool, kids' playground, and even a kids' game room. Each room in the resort's six three-story buildings comes with a private balcony or terrace offering garden, pool, or beach views. Suites have full kitchens, and family-friendly Junior Executive Suites come with a bedroom with a king or queen bed and a sofa bed. All rooms have quality bedding and a décor that mixes colonial-style wood pieces (some fourposter beds) with Caribbean accents (rattan, tile floors).
