In terms of hotels, Marigot has but a small sprinkling, none of them likely to knock your socks off. The Hotel Beach Plaza is for many the best of the bunch, and it even has its own decent beach, with palapa umbrellas and harbor vistas. This 144-room hotel is located between the sea and the lagoon, giving all rooms shimmering water views. It's built around a four-story atrium. The sunny rooms and suites aren't the fanciest in town, but all have tile floors, private balconies, and nice-size bathrooms; some are even outfitted with big wooden armoires. An activities hut on the beach has jet skis, kayaks, and snorkel equipment and can arrange water-sports excursions.
