Black Marlin
Although it looks and feels like an English pub with its exposed brick walls and cozy wooden booths, the Black Marlin, housed in the former site of the oldest tavern in Stuart, offers full Floridian flavor. That includes tasty items like a smoked Wahoo spread with jalapenos, pickled onion, and flatbread crackers, and conch cakes with mango remoulade. Too much fish? Their meatloaf is char-grilled with port wine reduction and we don’t care if it’s 200 degrees out, it warms our hearts. For the less-adventurous, there are sandwiches and pizzas, and for those who imbibe, an impressive selection of scotches, whiskeys, and aged rum. A 4 to 6pm daily happy hour features half off drinks, wine, and select beers, and discounts on select appetizers.
