Although Suwon itself doesn't offer a great array of Korean souvenirs, you can pick up something traditional and handmade from one of the many artisans inside the Korean Folk Village. My favorites are the paper makers who make hanji (rice paper). Some of them will write your name or a phrase in Korean or Hanja (Chinese characters) for you. They're inexpensive and lightweight, and you're directly supporting folk art.
