This is one of the best restaurants in the area for typical Sicilian cuisine and wines. It's right on the sea, not far from Piazzale dei Cappuccini. The decor is pure Liberty (Art Nouveau) style. The antipasti array is dazzling, and the homemade pastas are superb -- try pasta rusticana, with cheese, ham, and herbs. Swordfish appears here in roulades with raisins, pine nuts, and breadcrumbs. The dessert specialty is cassatine Siciliane (mocha-chocolate ice cream capped with sprinkles of coffee-flavored chocolate, all floating in a lake of English custard). A roof garden has a pizzeria serving typical Sicilian pizza.
