Hotels in Taiyuan

Most of Taiyuan's accommodation options lie along or near Yingze Dajie. While there are plenty of upscale and midrange options, budget choices are more limited. If you don't want to spend too much, the cheaper rooms at the Yingze are an option, as are the past-it but functional budget rooms in the West Wing of the Bingzhou Fandian (tel. 0351/882-1188). The hotel is on the southwest corner of Wuyi Square; rooms can be bargained down to ¥190.
