Perched precariously between the coastal road and the cliff that drops vertiginously down to the sea, this restaurant enjoys a view that sweeps over the peninsula of Isola Bella. The glassed-in dining room is simple and airy, accented with blue tile floors and very few adornments other than the view. The flavorful menu items include a fish soup that might win the approval of Neptune, as well as a mixed grill of fish caught that morning in the Ionian Sea. For my pasta fix, I gravitate to pennette with succulent crabmeat. Meat aficionados should find the veal scaloppine with white-wine sauce heartwarming.
