Hotels in Tegucigalpa

Accommodations in Tegucigalpa run the gamut: there's a little bit of everything. The majority of visitors stay in the midrange to pricier digs in Colonia Palmira, close to the majority of restaurants and nightspots. While most hotels in the city are a part of chains, there are several excellent boutique hotels and B&Bs in restored houses scattered about. The cheapest rooms, sometimes running less than US$20 per night, are found in the downtown area and around the bus stations. There is not a high season for hotels in the capital, though the better hotels geared towards business travelers, like the Marriot and Real InterContinental, are more likely to be filled during the week.
