The house and personal items remain as they were when Paula and David Ben-Gurion lived here. Ben-Gurion was Israel's first Prime Minister, and his impressive personal library, comprising some 20,000 books, bears witness to his knowledge and scholarship. The building itself is an interesting example of Bauhaus/International design. Most of the signs in the house are in Hebrew, but this will not detract much from your visit. In the bedroom, note a blocked-in window used as a bomb shelter.
