The atmosphere of the Jaffa Flea Market is something unique in the world and if you want to be in the beating heart of it all, you can do no better than this boutique hotel. One of its finest attributes is the glass floored lobby, giving a peek down to the remnants of a Byzantine chapel; it does double duty as the breakfast room (extra fee, but very good food). Upstairs, the guest rooms are not huge, but they are very nicely appointed and come with wooden parquet floors and light, airy bathrooms. Ask for a room with a balcony for views of the market and, if you want a sea view that’s nothing less than stunning, request room 401. This hotel is extremely popular, so don’t leave your booking until the last minute.
