Few places in Tel Aviv, or the world for that matter, can boast that for years a line of hungry customers has snaked out the door and down the street, most every day of the week. The reason? The freshest of seafood, reasonably priced and expertly, if simply, cooked. The menu offers two categories of fixed price dinners. Each comes with an all-you-can-eat medley of Middle Eastern appetizers, chilled seltzer, and your choice of a main course from a daily list of fish or shrimp that can be ordered either grilled or fried and served with garlic, lemon, and butter. Tablecloths are sheets of packing paper, and no substitutions are permitted (or needed). Service is friendly and speedy (which kids will appreciate). Reservations are not taken.
