River views, proximity to Dock Square, and value are the selling points at this airy spot right off the marina. The hotel got a chic redesign in 2018, and nice touches include white shiplap walls, wildly patterned custom headboards, new fixtures and marble floors throughout the bathrooms, and a “vinyl concierge service”—that is, delivery of a suitcase turntable and a selection of records. All rooms have glass doors opening onto patios just above the river. It’s a half-mile to Dock Square, but it’s easy to linger at the lodge, what with the patio bar and a pool barge docked out back.
