Hotels in Tierradentro

Several small budget hotels and eateries are clustered above the museums, though you’ll find better facilities in San Andrés de Pisimbalá. La Portada Hospedaje (http://laportadahotel.com; tel. 1/601-7884; COP$50,000 double), right near where the bus stops, has five rooms with modern bathrooms with hot water, and rates include breakfast. They can also set up guides and horses to explore the park. Hotel El Refugio (hotelalbergueelrefugio@gmail.com; tel. 1/811-2395; COP$80,000 double) is rather basic, though at its center is a nice pool and garden.
