Todi is a small town, so good and affordable restaurant options are fairly limited. For a more rustic lunch break, drive down the slopes south of Todi to La Mulinella at Ponte Naia 2 (tel. 075-894-4779; Thurs-Tues 12:30-2:30pm and 7:30-11:30pm), an exceptional restaurant set within a lovely Umbrian house and garden full of blossoms. There's a small swing, lots of room for kids to run around, stunning views back up to the town and a menu of hearty Umbrian classics.
