The Wychwood Barns Farmer’s Market (which runs Saturday mornings) is a great place to grab a piecemeal breakfast, but the best-kept secret is hidden in Barn 4. There, the Stop, a community hub with an anti-hunger mandate, serves wholesome breakfasts made from market ingredients brought in from local farms that very morning. The breakfasts include quiches, sandwiches, frittatas, and pancakes, but are always changing based on what’s being grown in Ontario that week. Make sure to pop into the greenhouse after your meal. In winter, the scent of dirt and orange blossoms keeps the January blues at bay.
