The grounds are so lush with flowering trees and shrubs that they could double as a botanical garden. The centerpiece of the complex is a large and popular pool. Many rooms are in low, motel-like buildings—well, motels encrusted with stucco and half hidden with landscaping. A tower building has more modern rooms. In all the buildings, the smallish rooms are furnished with queen or double beds. Most overlook the central garden, while a few look out on the beach.
