Hotel Tonet
We like the fact that Tossa de Mar is a real little town rather than simply a beach resort. This modest, family-run hotel sits on one of the town plazas and is a good place to hear church bells call people to Mass and to observe daily life from the upper-level terrace/solarium. Yet it is only about a 5-minute walk to the beach. Many of the simply furnished rooms are on the small side and a bit dated, and there is no air-conditioning.
