With 37 rooms, this is Grand Turk's largest hotel by far (the second-largest has 16 rooms). It's right on a powdery beach, anchored by a pretty seafront restaurant, the Birdcage, on a tiled pool terrace, with views of cruise ships emerging on the horizon. The Osprey has two sections: a two-story oceanfront townhouse holding 27 rooms, and the Atrium courtyard, across the street, with 10 roomy units. Queen suites come with full kitchens; the rest have kitchenettes or mini fridges. Rooms vary in size and décor; some are nicely renovated, with four poster beds and high ceilings (second-floor rooms on the beachfront), while others show a little more wear and tear, especially in the bathrooms. Still, this is excellent value in the TCI, particularly the courtyard rooms. On Sunday and Wednesday nights, the Birdcage hosts a poolside barbecue buffet ($14–$30) and the ripsaw music of Mitch Rolling and the High Tide.
