This good-value crowd-pleaser brings solid island cooking to Grace Bay. Highlights of the substantial menu include jerk shrimp kabobs, conch chowder, seafood pasta, conch fritters, and, of course, grouper, done here blackened, grilled, coconut-crusted, and pan-fried—it even comes in spring rolls and salads. Service is island-style, too, meaning things can be slo-o-ow going. Maybe that's because the kitchen is busy cooking all those takeout orders for guests staying in fancy resorts nearby (it's a quick stroll from the Palms, Somerset, and Alexandra). Mr. Grouper's has a second location at the Providenciales airport.
