Bright and busy (it's the nearest restaurant to the entrance of the Harry Potter land, and full of sunshine), Meteor Astropub is one of the most straightforward but crowdpleasing places to eat in Celestial Park: burgers, fish and chips, chicken salad, chicken and waffles, grilled cheese, and Sloppy Alya’s Tavern Sandwich, which blends Brisket burnt ends with Sloppy Joe mix. Vegans get a plant-based Italian sausage platter. It might sound boring, but everything is delivered in an elevated way that surpasses most theme park fare: That burger, which is on a potato roll, is made of Black Angus beef, American cheese, cherry pepper aioli, and garlic pickles. Top that with plenty of beer on tap, cocktails, and wine. There are more intensely themed places to eat and drink in Epic Universe, but Meteor Astropub nails the casual beer hall beat.
