Key Largo Conch House
A funky, pet friendly spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Key Largo Conch House is exactly that: a gingerbread Victorian set amid lush foliage, complete with resident dog, parrot, wraparound veranda for outdoor dining, and a grandma-core indoor dining room. Food is fresh and kindly priced, from the heaping plate of spicy shrimp and grits, to twists on the usual eggs Benedict, including our favorite, the crab cakes Benedict. The Key Lime Macadamia pancakes are a huge winner here, too. They also have a great vegan menu, and it’s beer and wine only, but craft beer selection is stellar here. Featured on the Food Network, Conch House should be a stop on everyone’s trip down to the Keys.
