Exposed brick walls and wooden beams lend a sense of warmth to this small hotel in a restored 1880s building. Well maintained guest rooms are comfortably, if somewhat sparely furnished. Several have outdoor terraces and all have good soundproofing. The hotel’s location northeast of but near the cathedral and on the banks of the former riverbed turned green pathway is a real plus. It’s convenient for exploring the central city—and for walking or bicycling to the City of Arts and Sciences. Bicycle rental is available.
