Chef Leanne Kelleher’s Florida meets new American with accents of Southern, Latin, Caribbean, and classical French cuisine has elevated the dining scene in Vero Beach, with a wine list hailed by “Wine Spectator” for over two decades. The pan seared crab cakes here are famous, prepared Maryland-style crab meat wise before it takes a tasty trip down South, with roasted corn sauce, tomatillo salsa cracklins, and cilantro oil. A pan-seared potato-crusted grouper with jumbo lump crabmeat, exotic mushrooms, tagliatelle in a lemon caper butter is magnificent. Service is stellar, and it's set in a West Indies-style, modern, mixed-use development at on the beach.
