Things To Do in Vodnjan
Vodnjan Attractions
When you walk through the center of Vodnjan, you’ll find that the main street is cobblestoned and uncharacteristically wide. As you get farther in, you’ll notice that the town has a distinct medieval appearance with arched doorways; Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture; offshoot streets the size of alleys; and a main square where St. Blaise and its campanile—the tallest in Istria—stand. Vodnjan is only 6km (4 miles) from the sea and 10km (6 1/2 miles) from Pula. Most visitors don’t explore Vodnjan in depth, but instead go straight to St. Blaise Church and its mummies and then head out again.
