Ilok is home to the Iločki Podrumi, one of the largest wineries in Croatia. It produces predominantly white wines, including Traminac, Graševina, Chardonnay, and Riesling. It is open to the public for tours of the cellars and the vineyards, and for tasting. The setting is peaceful and romantic; besides the cellars, there is also a tasting room, a restaurant, and a souvenir shop. Production was halted during the recent war, but resumed again in 1999. Reputedly Queen Elizabeth II is very fond of the Iločki Podrumi Traminac white wine, and occasionally has a few bottles sent over to London.
