The a la carte fine dining room across the hall from Boma is considered by many to be one of the resort's most romantic spot. It serves entrees that are very good, too (plus flatbreads—Disney's top restaurants have a love affair with flatbreads), but they often cost what the entire banquet does at Boma. The food coming from the open kitchen is pan-African, but waiters are sometimes too eager to adulterate to pander to American palates. That said, there are some delicious twists such as sweet tamarind butter for the bread, frisky amuse-bouches (prosciutto-wrapped pineapple, cucumber sorbet), and crispy beef bobotie spring rolls. Animal Kingdom Lodge also has one of the largest lists of South African wines in all of North America. When you're here, you also get to see the animals in the view area at the Lodge.
