Hotels in Western Cocle Province

Two Ecolodges Outside of Penonome -- Both lodges mentioned here are located on the road to Churuquita Grande and Caimito. To get here, turn into Penonomé at Hotel Dos Continentes on the Interamericana Highway, then turn right (northeast) onto the road to Churuquita and Caimito. La Iguana is 14km (8 1/2 miles) from the turnoff; the Trinidad is about the same distance from La Iguana (28km/17 miles from the turnoff to Caimito). The Trinidad will pick you up in Penonomé; for the La Iguana, take a taxi from Penonomé.
