Now connected by a bridge and a walkway, this rocky island is the perfect place for a leisurely stroll. The best time to go is right around sunset, just in time to see the island's dancing fountains, whose lights change color and water moves to piped-in music. You'll have a prime view of the lights from the city and from the ships at the port when you walk back into town after sundown. The island is famous for its camellias, which bloom from around mid-February to mid-March. Boat trips around the island start from the wharf. Some will cross Dolsan Bridge and Hang-il-am.
