Things To Do in Zurs

After dinner, many hotel guests retreat to their hotel bars -- or even up to their rooms -- for privacy and R&R before braving the wilds of the Tyrolean Alps for another day of skiing. But if you're tempted to go dancing, the resort's two dance clubs are Vernissage, in the Robinson Club Alpenrose (tel. 05583/2271), and the Disco Zürserl, in the Hotel Edelweiss (tel. 05583/2662). Neither charges any cover; beers cost around 4.50€ ($7.20) each. Of the two, Vernissage is likely to be more crowded because of its location within the largest hotel in Zürs. Both open for business at 10pm and continue until the last client staggers home.
