This summer several Heated Rivalry fans will get to stay overnight at the visually striking cottage featured in the show. And you just know they're all going to start their inevitable TikTok videos about the experience with that "I'm coming to the cottage" clip.
Located along Lake Muskoka in Ontario, the modernist three-bedroom home, known as Barlochan Cottage, will be bookable via Airbnb starting Tuesday, March 3, at noon Eastern time.
Rates for the place, which can accommodate up to six guests, start at a not-too-shabby CA$248.10 ($181.09).
The challenge to snagging a stay probably won't be the price so much as the fierce competition from the many fans of Heated Rivalry. But hey, if there's one thing the show has taught us, it's that fierce competition can be fun.
The Canadian TV series became a surprise smash hit when it began streaming on HBO Max at the end of 2025.
In case you're not familiar, Heated Rivalry centers on pro hockey players Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), whose on-the-ice showdowns slide into between-the-sheets couplings and honest-to-goodness romance.
In the sixth and final episode of the show's first season, the cottage is the primary setting for a climactic getaway for the pair.
What to expect during a stay at the Heated Rivalry cottage
In an exceptionally coy news release about the vacation rental, Airbnb never mentions Heated Rivalry by name but does make several references to the show.
The release suggests, for instance, that you can make tuna melts and smoothies (pivotal foodstuffs in the drama) in the "expansive, fully equipped kitchen set against a stunning lakefront backdrop" and take in serene views of the water while staying on guard for the calls of the common loon. Russian Ilya memorably refers to that creature as a "stupid Canadian wolf bird."
The house also has a private lake dock, a home gym, a fireplace-equipped central living space, three bathrooms, and three bedrooms.
The property is situated in the lake-filled "cottage country" north of Toronto. As Travel + Leisure explains, Canadians use "cottages" to refer to summer vacation homes in rural, woodsy, waterside locales.
In addition to having access to the lakefront and its scenic surroundings, Barlochan Cottage is a short drive from shops and restaurants in the town of Gravenhurst.
