Malaysian owner Hooi Hing takes a pan-Asian approach, serving up curries, stir-fries, and laksas from India, Malaya, Indonesia, and beyond. It’s tucked away off the main street but well worth hunting down for the orange duck curry or the South Indian fish curry with tamarind and star anise. In summer, you can dine on a deck that overlooks the Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park.
