The Captain’s Landing promises single party booking so you’re guaranteed to get a beautifully appointed bedroom (two, if your party requires it) and your own sitting room in this modern home on Devonport’s waterfront. It’s a leisurely 2-minute walk to the village and just 5 minutes from the ferry terminal, and Captain Bo Ekman and his wife, Margaret, go out of their way to make your retreat a restful one. Glass doors open onto a big private deck area where you can enjoy the sun; and the sitting room is filled with comfortable chairs and plenty of books, including some of Bo’s own memorabilia from his shipping experiences around the world.
